a bunch of random shit i found on my old hard drive from the computer that i (and my dad) used from 2007 to 2015

below is a playlist i made of songs that remind me of growing up on the internet.

these images are from roughly 2007 to 2009.

as a kid, i had a fascination with microsoft word, and used it at a very young age. it was pretty much one of the first programs i ever used, other than 3D pinball.

as you will see, these docs are mostly nonsensical crap.

a lot of the documents were just the letters of the alphabet, in different fonts and colors. i loved that stuff.

i was obsessed with the presidents for some reason. i would often recite all of the presidents in order to random kids and they would tell me to shut up.

i made a shitton of different blogs starting when i was 8 years old. the subject matter ranged from the beatles, club penguin, phineas and ferb, youtube, and more. many of these blogs are still up.

for some reason, 8-year-old me thought that john saying "ALE!" at the end of bungalow bill was its own track.

but eventually, i was found out. this led to the real jeff "swampy" marsh threatening to sue an 8-year-old. he wouldn't leave me alone. (i don't have a brother btw)

i was promptly banned from the phineas & ferb wiki for six months.

i was very active on deviantart when i was 10-11 years old. back then, not a second thought went into anything i did. i was just a child on the internet exposing my personality for all to see. unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) i deactivated my account in 2013. everything here comes from either my old hard drive or from the internet archive.

almost none of my drawings survived, with the exception of these few glorious pieces:

i was still a huge phineas and ferb fan, and i was irrationally obsessed with the "phinbella" ship.

one time, i started getting really upset about spongebob winning a kids choice awards over phineas and ferb, which led to a lot of trolls commenting on my page. it was very obvious to them that i was just some annoying fuckin kid that was really easy to mock.

i did not have a friend who died in 9/11. i was 5 months old at the time. i had a knack for blatantly lying about myself in order to get attention. for example:

shortly after my 11th birthday, i became a brony. it's one of the most important things that ever happened to me.

as a kid, i used to talk in chatrooms, specifically on a website called xat. i started using xat in 2008, and i even made some chatrooms for my class. in june 2012, i stumbled upon a my little pony-themed chatroom called Bronystorm. i met some amazing people there, and i made friendships that last to this day. i would spend all of my summer days on that chatroom. it had a profound impact on my life that extends far beyond just the chatroom.

it was around this time that i made my first ever original character, a pony named Naz. this is when i began using Naz as an online username. (the name comes from a shortening of NASDAQ). i used a flash pony maker to stylize my pony, with no regard for whether it looked good or not. he was bright blue, with neon red and green hair. he looked like something a child would make without a second thought. the art below was made by one of my best friends at the time.
